As God’s creation, we are fallen and have a sinful nature.  We were created to know God intimately and to serve Him.  Since the fall of man in the garden of Eden, eyes were opened and man knew he was naked.  We all have carnal habits and are immorally selfish.  This places our sin above God, which is idolatry.  Our God is a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24) and there shall be no gods before Him (Exodus 20:3).  Embedded in the seed of all mankind is the curse of sin.  We are all immorally flawed and without Christ there would be no hope.

1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:17‬ *, “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!”
